J'y ai passé 3 semaines et j'y retournerai certainement quand nous le pourrons. Lit super confortable, bonne salle de bain et réveillez-vous au chant des oiseaux dans le bambou à côté de votre fenêtre. Longues nuits à bavarder dans le jardin avec une bouteille de vin, le paradis. (Avis d'origine) Really great stay at this gite, with the wonderful host Marc Albert. Stayed for 3 weeks, and will certainly go back when we can. Super comfortable bed, good ensuite, and wake up to bird song from the birds in the bamboo out side your window. Long nights chatting in the garden with a bottle of wine, heaven.

Hôtel de la Bannière de France
(73 Avis)It's a few years since we last had the pleasure of a stay at La Bannière and, thankfully, very little has changed. Same uneven floors and unexpected steps. Same matchbox-sized car park that makes you offer prayers of thanks to the inventor of power steering. Same gloriously quirky rooms. A great shame that the excellent restaurant was closed this time, but then Laon on a Monday is like something from Dawn Of The Dead and it's the Fête de la Musique tomorrow. Feels like I've come home again....
