La Closerie Deauville
(99 Avis)Dès notre arrivée nous n'avons pas eu la chambre réservée, nous avons été "déclassées" à la Closerie alors que nous avions réservé la Villa Odette. Si nous ne nous en étions pas aperçues, l'hôtel ne nous aurait jamais dit que notre chambre prévue de base n'était pas disponible. Soi-disant ils m'aurait appelé pour me prévenir mais rien. L'appart hôtel sentait mauvais. On nous a proposé une autre chambre plus grande en compensation mais elle était pire, le frigo était en décongélation, des serviettes empilées au pied du frigo pour éponger l'eau qui coulait. Le mur était gondolé d'eau....

Domaine De La Rançonnière
(3 Avis)Beautiful 13th century fortified manor, ideally located for a visit to the D-Day beaches. Staff are very helpful and the reception desk is quick to answer any call. The rooms are very well appointed in a traditional style with a medieval flavour. Our room had all modern amenities but we had trouble with the Internet. Because of the thick walls of the old building we were unable to get wifi or 4G in our room. We always had to go out in the courtyard to read our mails. Best reception was in the bar. The food was of a brasserie level and I think this hotel that does everything so well should try to upgrade the restaurant to a culinary guide level. Special mention goes to the wine list with some nice affordable wines. Outside the gate is a memorial dedicated to the Belgian pilots who took part in the Normandy landing....
